How to get around Quiberon
Quiberon is a city full of surprise. If you are planning to go on holiday this summer and to choose the peninsula as a destination, here are some tips for getting around the city center and the surrounding areas. A quick tour of the means of transport available in Quiberon!
The train
Train service serving all train stations from Auray to Quiberon. It runs daily from late June to August 31, 2015, as well as the weekends in the second half of June and the first half of September. The one-way ticket costs 3.10 € (3.40 € aboard the Corkscrew), the round trip 5.40 €, the card of 10 trips 21.50 €, the day pass 7 € and the season pass 104 €. They are on sale at SNCF stations served and at the Tourist Office of Quiberon.
The Quib'Bus
Shuttle bus service offered by the City which runs from July 1st to August 31st. The QUIB'BUS ensures continuous rotations from 8h to 20h. It serves 25 stops on the town. The ticket costs € 1 and allows you to travel freely throughout the day. Tickets are sold on the bus. At 100 meters from the house, there is a stop.
The buses
Regular lines between Quiberon and Auray are available between September and June. Be careful, in July and August, buses connect only to Plouharnel, before entering the peninsula. From Plouharnel to Quiberon, links by the train (see below). Bus ticket price: 2 €. 15 € the 10 trips.
Taxis
There are several types of taxis in Quiberon. You can either opt for the Alizé Taxi providing services of any transport, circuits from the airport as well as seated medical services.
Alternatively, you can also use the services of Abaca Taxis Quiberonnais and Saint-Pierrois offering high-end vehicles, 1 motorcycle taxi, 24 hours a day. LOTI, medical transport.
